To the left is how I looked when this problem first began. It should be a warning sign for all parrot owners. Too much time on my hands, too little fresh fruits and vegetables, my boring pelleted food in a boring dish, in the same old place day after day. To the right is how I look now.

So concentrate on keeping me stimulated by adding interesting things to my environment and feeding me stuff that God designed me to eat.

I recall that Dr. Hines wrote an article some time ago on environmental enrichment - had something to do with preventing stereotypic behaviors - I believe you can read his article here.

Remember, you can't just put healthy food in my cage - its how you present it that is so important. You have to make me use my intelligence to earn my supper ! You can read about that here.
